Psh, Raleigh doesn't mind being obvious that much.

"Hold me to what?" Raleigh smirks at Chuck, shirt hanging open as he stuffs his hands into his own pockets, leading Chuck inside to the elevators and winking at the front desk girl on the way over.

If Raleigh was gonna change his mind, Chuck'd know it by now. They wouldn't be getting in the elevator and Raleigh wouldn't be swiping his card and punching the 17 button, and he sure wouldn't be pushing Chuck against the wall and wedging a knee between his thighs, mouth settling on Chuck's neck.

Herc just raises his eyebrows, because at least his kid knows when to ask for help. Chuck kind of wants to go bury his head under something, but he mutters a garbled welcome to our home and leads Raleigh upstairs.

He ambles up the stairs after Chuck, stupid grin on his face. Sorry Chuck. That's why happens when you get one of the friendliest people in the school to help you.

His bedroom is. Well it's not a disaster area, but there are...areas. It's best they work on the bed or the floor. "You hungry? Thirsty?"

"Nah, I'm good." But he'll wait here if Chuck wants something. He's patient like that.

Nah he's just gonna flop down and flip through his notes.

"So, come on, share your wisdom."

"Okay." He flops next to Chuck and leans over, and starts...well.

Tutoring.

He's pretty smart, and knows what he's doing. At least Chuck will probably pass his test.

Chuck's pretty argumentative, but even he can admit that even when he was so sure he had the grasp of the process, it's clearly wrong.

He does get things.

Also it's totally not weird they're alone in his bedroom together. Not weird.

Nope not weird at all. Especially when they're aware that Chuck's dad is somewhere in the house.

Raleigh argues right back with Chuck when he gets snippy, and points out where he's gone wrong and how to fix it.

Well he backs down when the mistake is clear, he just...doesn't always see the mistake immediately.

But there's muttering as he goes back and fixes his mistakes.

It really doesn't help that Herc passes by every so often on very obviously faked little errands and glancing into the room.

And every time he passes, they're being good boys and behaving themselves. When Raleigh notices, he waves or grins, then nudges Chuck when he's gone.

"He afraid we're gonna burn the place down?"

"Nah, he just knows how I feel about you," he says carelessly.

"Can you tell me about bonds again?"

Chuck always behaves himself what are you talking about

"You mean the burning hatred?" He grins over at him.

"Sure. Remember how I said its an attraction between atoms? It's caused by the electrostatic force of attraction between opposite charges. Opposites attract."

"That's the bunny." He smirks.

.....Chuck's changing the subject to something a little less uh. Relevant.

"Bunny?" He glances up. What even.

Back to chemistry chuck.

"Is your brother going to send out a search party?" He asks, scratching Max's ears (the bulldog decided to come help them study).

"Nah. He know I'm here. He figures it's punishment enough."

Yancy isn't worried.

Chuck snorts and leans back, flipping his book closed.

"Yeah well, punishment over, I think I've got all I can take for the night." His brain is going to explode.

Raleigh smirks, and starts to gather his shit.

"Test tomorrow, right?"

"I bet I can get at least a C." Chuck grins and stretches out, cracking his back a little.

"I think I owe you a favor," he says reluctantly.

"Bet you'll get at least a B." Raleigh is confident in his tutoring skills.

"Nah. It's no big deal." He doesn't want him to feel like Chuck owes him anything. That's just awkward.

"We'll see." He'll probably be fine. Better than fine.

"I'll feel weird."

[driftsolo]

"You gotta let me know."

He wrinkles his nose and frowns.

"I'll feel weird with you feeling like you owe me. I dunno, gimme your dessert or something tomorrow."

"Oh come on, how old are we?"

He rolls his eyes back at the nose wrinkling.

"....I could pay you back in sexual favors," he offers sarcastically.

"...I like dessert."

"That's--" EVEN WORSE, CHUCK. Raleigh's face goes a little red and excuse him while he snatches at his notebook.

Chuck laughs at the look on his face.

"Okay, you can think about it and keep your pants on." Chuck has fun torturing Raleigh. "Something better than dessert."
