Psh, Raleigh doesn't mind being obvious that much.

"Hold me to what?" Raleigh smirks at Chuck, shirt hanging open as he stuffs his hands into his own pockets, leading Chuck inside to the elevators and winking at the front desk girl on the way over.

If Raleigh was gonna change his mind, Chuck'd know it by now. They wouldn't be getting in the elevator and Raleigh wouldn't be swiping his card and punching the 17 button, and he sure wouldn't be pushing Chuck against the wall and wedging a knee between his thighs, mouth settling on Chuck's neck.

Not aaaalways sometimes he eats with other guys on the lacrosse team.

He rolls his eyes but doesn't move.

Hey he brought it! Momma Yancy made it. It's good stuff.

Well Chuck's the one that made it all awkward and shit. Raleigh's just keeping him company. Kind of. By eating his lunch in silence because what do you say to your younger one night stand?

Uh. Chuck wouldn't know. He's not a--uh. One night stands--it was his first one of those things okay it's no big.

He picks at his mashed potatoes.

First one for Raleigh. Not first time, but uh. First time getting drunk and banging someone in a guest room.

"You alright?" Stop playing with your food.

Y-yeah that was totally the same first Chuck was talking about too yeah.

"Yeah?" He shoots a look at Raleigh like to ask 'why?'. "Chemistry test later."

"Good luck on that," he mumbles, polishing off a final chip and taking a swig of gatorade. "Chemistry's a bitch."

"It's not too hard," he shrugs carelessly, rolling his eyes.

It's not like he's a terrible student. Too terrible.

And he'll play with his mashed potatoes if he wants.

Raleigh's not shabby himself, but, you know. He doesn't really play up his abilities, instead preferring to kind of coast along easily.

"Lemme know if you ever need help." Hahaha, yeah right, but at least the offers there.

Whereas Chuck tries to overexceed.

He shoots him another skeptical, confused look. "....doubt it."

But. "Thanks."

Raleigh hardly has to try to be awesome. Poor Chuck.

He's waiting for something full of more venom, but it doesn't come. He grins, and shrugs.

"Sure. Just lemme know."

Ugh what a jerk.

Yeah well, Chuck's eating, his blood sugar's fine and he's in an okay mood. "You didn't save your old tests, did you?"

He wads up his lunch bag and snorts quietly.

"Nah. Threw all that away. Remember a lot, though."

"Well, that's useless." Chuk finally scoop a large forkful of potatoes into his mouth just so he can roll his eyes at Raleigh and not be required to answer immediately.

"Hardly. I remember!"

He's tempted to throw his napkin at Chuck, but he refrains. For now.

"What, you mean willingly spend time with you?" Chuck smirks at him.

"Sounds worse than failing."

[driftsolo]

Now he throws it.

An he's getting up, because he's done.

"Oh fine, fail then." It's said with a smirk though, not a pout. "Good luck."

--done with lunch or done with Chuck?

"Oh shut up and give me your number" he snaps, rolling his eyes. "I'll text you if I get desperate for help."

Lunch. Chuck's like crack, you fight it, but you can't get enough.

Raleigh grins a little, and rattles off his cell number.

"Only if you're desperate."

"I'll have to be," Chuck snipes back, pulling out his phone to put the number in,

Just sayin.

Raleigh just laughs, and leaves him to it. Maybe he'll get a text maybe he won't. Offers there, though.

Yeah, Chuck isn't planning on texting him for homework help.

Or. Any other reason. It'd be weird. They hate each other, don't they?

....but no he really needs to pass this class. So he's texting Raleigh crankily.
